Why doesn't MLB ban chewing tobacco and dipping snuff at the major league level? It's already banned in the?

minors and in college? They have banned smoking in the dugouts, why can't they ban this nasty stuff? It causes terrible mouth cancer too, as the last HBO Real Sports showed. It's time to ban this. Also, a lot of young kids growing up are very impressionable and they wind up dipping because all of their favorite players dip. It's a terrible influence on kids, and also it's nasty to always watch them with dips and spitting. If the players want to dip outside of the ballpark, that's their own business, but it should be banned in the clubhouse and on the field. Like I said, it's already banned in the minors and college, so why should the major league guys be able to do it?

How come my Dell Laptop Beeps with every key stroke?

Hi, i have a Dell Vostro 1510 (laptop). Ever since the first day i got this laptop, it beeps everytime i press a key. Its not because another key is pressed down, ive checked for that already. Its an identical beep and it comes from the speakers. I already tried right clicking My Computer and going to hidden devices and disabling "beep" , and i also tried going to accesibility and unchecking "beep when keys pressed down." BUT NOTHING IS WORKING. Im reall going crazy about this. I turned my computer on and off once to see if that would help but nothing! Did i have food poisoning or heat stroke?

saturday night i went out, had about 10 drinks the last drink i had was at about 1:30am, then i had a donner kebab that didnt taste very nice so gave half to my friend, the next morning i felt ok, it was 31 degrees outside and went to the gym with no air conditioning and was really hot, went home and sat in the garder for no more than about 2 hours mostly in the shade. i was really tired and didnt feel to good so went to sleep then woke up at 10:30 and threw up everywhere, all the food from the day came out, then i got really hot and sweaty but felt freezing and full body aches and was really bad all night waking up to be sick. then when i woke up at 3pm the next day and felt alot better and got better as the day went on and now i feel fine, 2 of my friends who ate a kebab from the same place were ill as well. i dont think it woiuld be the alcohol because i was ill at least 21 hours after my last drink. and was ill 20 hours after i ate the kebab. i didn't have a hangover i felt fine in the morning and also my heart rate was 110 bpm when it is normally about 72

Atv leaking gas now......?

i took it apart ad cleaned the carb yesterday. and the hose wasnt really big enough for the gas tank and would keep falling off cuz you couldnt get it up on the thing very good (so i took a screwdriver nd try to make the end of the hose wider so it would fit on to the gas tank more). and i put it all back together. and it had a full tank of gas. And i went to take it out today to fine all the gas is gone nd is on the floor. then i put more gas in it and it didnt leak 4rm anywhere.. went bck later nd it was out also so whts up?, do i put a small pin hole in the gas line whe i try to make the end wider or is there sumrhing wrong with the carb?,. btw its only a 4 stroke 50cc atv

Does this sound like a concussion?

I hit my head yesterday night at around 10 pm ( now its 300 pm where I live) and experienced a brief flash of blue, followed my a minor headache and minor head pressure. I did not experience any oother hemmorrhage, stroke, or concussion other than those symptoms. Today, the headache remains, and there is still minor head pressure, but nothing else. No altered mental state, no trouble sleeping or loss of consciousness when I hit my head. I did some research and discovered something called the Luci Interval, however, and now I am worried i have that and am going to get a hematoma or something.

What should my next dirtbike be?

I'm 14 5,6 and 140 lbs. I'd say I'm a very good rider. Airline Pilot Career?????

So I have not really started taking lessons yet. I have like 20 hours in a Cessna. By far, learning to fly has been the greatest and happiest moment of my life. Ever since I was four years old I wanted to be an airline pilot. I immigrated to this country from Russia. My great grandpa flew for Aeroflot airlines. Would a Russian name look bad on a resume?? Also, I plan on really pursueing an aviation career later in life. Right now I'm going to community college and plan on transferring to a university to study finance or international business. Also, depending on which school I go to I may enroll in their professional pilot program to earn all my certificates. If not I will do so when i get out of school and get a decent paying job so I can afford it. The way I see it I will be around 25 by the time I finish school because i postponed a lot and also took some time off to hike the Appalachian trail, but also started college and school in general later than normal. My GPA is solid above a 3.5. So by the time i build enough hours to work at a regional I will probably be around 28-30 years of age. I will not let love or family interfer with my dreams. If a girl can't stand by me and support me she's just not worth it and isn't the right one for me. After like 10 years at a regional I will apply to majors. I'm learning French in college and perhaps will be able to work abroad or something. Who knows. I'm just a little worried about the age. I read that airlines won't hire you if your over 30.... Is this true? DO I have a good plan? If I ever get furloughed I could just break back into business... Or just hike some more lol.

Lawsuit against OBGYN?

I believe that my OBGYN may have caused mistakes with both of my pregnancies. I was Strep B + with my first child. I was a week and a half over my due date and she broke my water and I went into labor, I then had to have a C section. 2 weeks after being home from the hospital my child had a high fever and was really fussy and his body was limp..we brought him to the hospital and they couldn't get an IV in him so after an hour they had him rushed in an ambulance to a different hospital. They did a spinal tap and found out he had caught Spinal Bacterial Meningities infecting his blood, brain, and spine he had 4 frontal lobe strokes in his brain as well as a seizure from the Group Strep B they found positive in me during pregnancy. This poor child went through SO much and we almost lost him. There was a low percentage that he would survive, and he did. The doctor was sure that he was going to be deaf and spoke with us about the Cerebral Palsy along with many other things. There was a paster up in his room everyday he was there. He is now 21/2 years old but could have developmental problems. Although He recovered VERY well and is like any other 2 1/2 year old. A true MIRACLE. He has some speech problems, but we continue to work with him. He was hospitalized for over a month. Everyone tells me that could be a huge lawsuit, I believe I was supposed to recieve antibiotics during labor, but I had a C-Section... ....Getting to my second pregnancy.... I was supposed to recieve the Rhogam shot because I am O- and my husband is A+ I did recieve it with my first child his blood type is positive as well as my second child now, but while pregnant with my second child I did not recieve it. We are now questioning whether or not it's safe to have another child. Is this the same Doctors fault? Could there be a lawsuit?

Do whatever you think is best for you. If you love the game and it's your goal to go far in it then i'd stay with the higher team. Because your going to need to go to those places like Texas, Vegas and California and participate in showcases in order to get noticed by college scouts. If your doing it for fun and you just enjoy it, definitely go with the lower team save the money, and have fun with your friends! As far as high school goes, It is a great experience. Though where i live in Az, scouts do not come to the games. I don't know the case as far as where you live! so i just started my swimming lessons ( i've only had 2 so far) and my teacher taught me to do the breast stroke first. Help please, my nieces are raising themselves when they are with their mother, any advice on what we can do?

Their ages range from 8 to 14. She has custody, works late nights and sometimes stays after hours at the bar she works in, not coming home until 2am-4am. The girls father would keep them during those hours but to prove her point that SHE has custody, she would rather they stay alone at her place (rather than with their father). She has had numerous boyfriends come in and live after only a week or two of dating them. These strange men sleeping over even when the girls are present. The father pays child support although, at one point in the past year he had them 65% of the time. There's so much, as an outsider, that I see wrong in this picture. There was even one morning, where one of the girls wasn't feeling well, and she couldn't get her mother up to take care of her, she was sleeping in bed with her new boyfriend she's dated for 4 weeks. So my niece called me and her Dad for suggestions and told her she probably shouldn't go to school. She informed us that her mother doesn't get up until 5 minutes before they have to leave for school. She woke up an hour late that morning and none of the girls made it to school...she did on the other hand take them out later that afternoon to get pedicures. The Monday before he was to see the children, my ex-boyfriend called me repeatedly at work and on my cellphone, saying he was going to kill me, and that I would have to see him on Saturday and I couldn't use that b.s."I'm scared" excuse. I was at work while all of these phonecalls were going on. The next day I filed an emergency protective order so he couldn't harass and threaten me. He violated it two minutes after recieving it. I know the children love their father, and I was for the 4 hours of visitation, but I am afraid of what he will tell the children, I don't want them mentally abused as they are very young and impressionable. I was just hoping that there were parents who have gone through the same thing and could lend me some advice. We go back to court on Wednesday, and my stomach churns just thinking about having to be in the same room as him.

Talk with your attorney because it would be a lot easier if he would file the paperwork for eviction (and list your grandmother's circumstances and your power of attorney and that should get them out pronto. Here in FL you'd need to hand them a 3-day notice of eviction or do it by certified mail return receipt. Then the attorney could file a paper and judge approve it and the sheriff would be sent out to the place, knock on their door and ask them to leave. If you tell the sheriff that they've been a problem then the sheriff would stand there and wait until they leave. Here you cannot toss their belongings out on the street you must put it into storage for them and then if they don't claim it there they lose it for good. You'd call a PUD or POD and fill it and then also charge them for the storage fee. The judge would issue a judgment for what they yet owe you and for anything they messed up while there. You'd need to supply the court the proof of how much they paid and how much they didn't, a copy of the lease, pictures of what they messed up or you had to clean or fix, etc.

Well around 6 this morning i woke up and had really sharp pain under my left breast in the top of the rib. It hurt when I inhaled or moved, so i went to the ER. They said it sounded like it possibly could be a blood clot which can lead to heart attack, so they gave me an EKG and that was normal. Then they wanted to draw blood to check and see if it's a blood clot or not but i freaked out and refused to let them, not because im afraid of needles but because I'm afraid of bad news. I'm also 21, and ate mac and cheese and 2 twix icecream bars before i went to bad, so maybe it was just gas? the pain i was having went away when i was in the hospital but now im freaking out thinking "what if i DID have a blood clot...should i be worrying???

I was arrested in 06 for criminal mischeif for throwing a beer bottle at a sign at a party I did not hit the sign but was forced into confession by the chief investigator who also smoked pot with the family pushing my arrest, anyways I was denied the right to my phone call and an attorney until after the police forced me to say that I did hit the sign or I would have to sit in jail for 3 days and the would make sure I faced serious jail time(i was scared and only 18 at the time) so I said what they told me to say. I was in and out of court for 15 months and they kept postponing my courtdate for another month, the my public defender who was friends with the judge and chief investigator told me to plead guilty though I was denying that I did anything illegal he said that if I did this the I would get 1-2 yrs probation max and have to pay for the sign and just so all this would finally be over I plead guilty and the judge gave me 5yrs probation and a felony charge for a sign! So 1 1/2 yrs ago I stopped going to my P.O.s because he made me take a drug class even tho I never failed a drug test for him the last one I failed was about 1 1/2 yr before that with a dif. P.O. The class was once a week and I was staying 2 hrs away working and could not afford the gashomosexual remarks to me and I don't trust the law or judicial systems anymore bc they screwed my life up so I did not report him I just stopped going. And now with just 1 yr left on my probatiom the quire P.O. Violated my probation for using illegal drugs(it has been 3+yrs since I smoked pot) and failure to attend the drug class which I should have never had to attend in the first place. With all that said I guess my question is, what can I do to get this taken care of without facing jail time? And just because I have a bench warrant out does that mean I will most lilely face jail time or could I get all this dropped with a decent attorney under the circumstances?..

How do I go about forcing my child's father into counseling?

I'm a single mother in Ohio. We have a 2 year old daughter together, and he shows all signs of extreme bi-polar disorder. He was in counseling before, but stopped going before he could be officially diagnosed. Every time I drop my daughter off with him, he is very confrontational with me in front of her. His mood is never the same and I'm starting to get tired of it. Pet rat back problems/lump?

This is most likely a tumor. Both of my rats passed recently from tumors. They don't usually cause rats pain because 90% of them are belign. They may cause discomfort when the rat is becoming an elder and is sick, or what not. If it's not a tumor, its probably is her spine. This is caused by not using the back legs. You can go to the vet, make sure he's very reputable, though. I hope I helped.

He will probably never get over the past but you need to leave him behind and move on if not for your sake, for the sake of your child. Remember that if you were still with him he would be a role model for your son, who would grow up to treat any future girl friend or spouse the way this guy is treating you. You need to file for support for your child and then he can decide if he wants visitation or not but you need to be very careful with the visitation to make sure he does not decide to take the boy back to the philipines in order to punish you so make sure that it is supervised visitation. Also, make the child supprt paid through the Friend of the Court because even though it costs a bit, they can make sure that he pays that in ways that you can not. You do need to take it very slow getting into this new relationship to make sure it is not just a rebound from the father and that it is a good relationship over a period of time.

Question About A TV Show...For people in the Brunswick, GA. & Florida Area?

Ok, this one is gonna be a real stretch! BUT... Years ago, I'd say late 70s to very early 80s, I used to stay up late on Saturday nights & watch Wrestling (Rick Flair/Dusty Rhodes era) and after Wrestling, a late night horror movie would come on. It seems like it was "Nightmare Theater" or "Horror Theater" or something like that, and it was hosted by a guy named Jack...."Something". I can't for the LIFE of me, remember this guy's last name! I can still remember his face plain as day though. He had dark brown hair, a dark brown beard & mustache, and he seemed to be in his late 20s or very early 30s. It also seems like he was a disc jockey at one time as well. Anyway, he would come on before the movie and tell what it was about, and he would say a few words in the middle of the movie, or after every commercial, like a narrator. I believe the station would've been WTOC, channel 11. Like I said, I know it's a stretch, but maybe somewhere out there in yahoo land, there is SOMEBODY who remembers this guy, or at least what the show was called. It was always a scary movie, and I was at that impressionable age and LOVED scary movies! As a teen mom myself, I dont think the show glorifies teen pregnancy at all. I seen alot of things on the show that made me remember how HARD it really was to be a freshman in high school with a newborn. I think I had a stroke because my mouth (both corners) have drooped down a bit. Mostly the right side of my mouth. These young "impressionable" people are not being conditioned to believe that our culture is a rape culture anymore than these "impressionable" young people are being conditioned to believe that the men they invite to their homes will not rape them. You don't have to like or be around your dad's jumpoffs if you don't care to. But, you should respect her. Don't be crass or rude. The person you care about in this situation is your dad. Therefore, that is the only person you need to be concerned about, in my opinion. If something you are doing is hurting your dad, then maybe you should rethink your actions. If your dad is fine with you being distant from his GF, then I don't see a problem with it. Is it reasonable to say that these repeated themes are unhealthy - especially to young, impressionable girls? Processor doesn't matter as much as what it's capable of. AM3+ is just a minor architecture variation on AM3. Just grab a processor, build around that and worry mostly about graphics processing power more than raw processing power. A 2.4 GHz quad-core processor is going to perform equally well regardless if it's Intel or AMD...you should know that if you're a gamer. I personally recommend Intel since they are simply better from a design standpoint, especially the i-series processors. An i5 or i7 will be fine for you. Worry more about your GPU. Or figure out a way to get the Cell processor to work in a computer...that would be something to see.

Can I use any kind 20W50 motor oil in my motorcycle, even if its not specified as motorcycle oil?

I purchased several bottles of Castrol 20W50 High Mileage Synthetic oil for my motorcycle, and then the next day I saw the section for just motorcycle oils, and was wondering if it really mattered. The manual says to use 20w50 oil w/ detergent, and this Castrol high Mileage stuff meets the criteria, but I guess technically it is a automobile lubricant. Do you think it would cause problems in my bike? It's a 2000 Ural Tourist, 4 stroke, 2 cylinder 650cc and the same oil is used in both the main chassis and gear box.
