How do I go about forcing my child's father into counseling?
I'm a single mother in Ohio. We have a 2 year old daughter together, and he shows all signs of extreme bi-polar disorder. He was in counseling before, but stopped going before he could be officially diagnosed. Every time I drop my daughter off with him, he is very confrontational with me in front of her. His mood is never the same and I'm starting to get tired of it. We do not have court appointed visitation, and I'm willing to work with him but he's never consistent with the days he wants to see her or the time he would like her dropped off or picked up. He has also shown his colors in front of his family/friends as well as mine and they have noticed his behavior. Is there any possible way he can attend mandatory counseling? If possible, how do I go about doing this? My daughter is starting to be more impressionable and I want her to have a positive relationship with her father, as do I.
