Chicken Soup for the Soul Story - Clingons?

I cannot find the story in the chicken soup for the soul books I read years ago about clingons. It is about letting go. It was very impressionable on me years ago and I would really love to find it again. It is about hanging on to the rock in the river like everyone else or letting go and flowing with life and though there is bumps and uncertainty in life - one still flows with life and its unexpected surprises rather than staying clung on the certainty of status quo. No correlation to the Klingons in Star trek.
