How much of Odd Future's momentum is dependent on the blind admiration of impressionable kids?

Well, the majority of Eminem's fanbase in his height of popularity (and a lot of it now) was dependent on something similar...catching the feelings of the youth of the times. Same with most of the other incredibly popular pop acts in history.
