Do you think society is messed up?

I believe you are right. Society does play a major role in learned behavior. I believe one of the most important things in a person's life is the early childhood years. Children need consistency and stability in the formative years. The breakdown of the family has destroyed this for many children. Also the lack of discipline in the home has a major effect on children. When there are no rules or rules are not enforced, children do not learn to control themselves as they grow up. They become undisciplined adults who do not fit in any relationship.
