Do many liberal teachers choose that profession because it is the only way that they are able to exert any?

control over anybody or anything? Is it because they know that only impressionable young minds are open to their statist points-of-view and nobody else will listen to it? Is it because they are incapable of succeeding in anything else because they're so out of touch with reality?
