Can I stop/postpone my period?

Im going to visit my boyfriend on saturday (in 3 days) and I started feeling cramps today so I think I might start my period in a couple days, which would ruin some plans I had for him!!.. if there's not a way to stop or postpone it then maybe a way to make it hurry up and start and then make it shorter??? I really dont wanna be on my period while Im with him so I wanna do anything I can to ensure that it doesnt start!(if possible!)
